Who it's for
The AI video editor for TikTok you talk to
TikTok rewards the video that gets to the point in the first second and keeps moving. Upload the takes, say what you want, and Krafto cuts the retakes and pauses, adds captions clear of TikTok's caption and buttons, and sets the 9:16 shape.
What a TikTok talking video needs
TikTok is the fastest feed there is. A pause at the start is a swipe, and a slow middle is a swipe. A talking TikTok works when every line follows the last with no breath between, which is exactly the edit that takes longest by hand: a split and a delete at every pause.
TikTok draws its caption and your username over the bottom of the video, a column of buttons down the right, and the top tabs over the top. Text that sits there is hidden on the one screen that matters. Every account can post three minutes; only some can post five or ten.
TikTok numbers Krafto exports to
From TikTok's own pages, read on 02/10/2026; the linked tool pages list every source. Krafto's 9:16 export already fits them.
| What | Value | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Size | 1080 × 1920 pixels, 9:16 | Export at this; the size page checks a file against it. |
| Longest | 10 minutes | Every account can post 3 minutes; only some can post 5 or 10. |
| Comfortable length | 3 minutes | Every account can post 3 minutes; only some can post 5 or 10. |
| Clear of the app's buttons | Top 13%, bottom 34%, sides 11% | Measured from TikTok's own In-Feed safe zone file (drawn at 720 × 1280 and scaled here to 1080 × 1920): 160 px top, 440 px bottom, 80 px each side, and a 120 px column of buttons in the lower right. TikTok publishes it for ads; ordinary posts use the same screen. The safe zone page draws it on your video. |
TikTok, edited without the editing.
Upload your clips and say what you want. Krafto cuts the retakes and pauses, adds captions, and hands you a first cut. $25 a month.
What Krafto does, and what is still yours
The honest split. Krafto does the part most people put off; it doesn't film for you or decide what the video is about.
| Job | Who does it | How |
|---|---|---|
| Writing and filming | You | Say each line as its own take. A phone on a stand is enough. |
| Picking the best take of each line | Krafto | It listens to every take and keeps the best one, usually the last. |
| Cutting the retakes and pauses | Krafto | The first cut comes with the dead air and repeated lines out. |
| Captions | Krafto | Written from what you said, timed to your voice, placed clear of the app's buttons. |
| Titles, motion graphics, diagrams | Krafto, when you ask | "Put the key words behind me", "draw what I'm explaining": each ask adds a layer. |
| The shape for each platform | Krafto | 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts; 4:5 and 1:1 for feeds; 16:9 for YouTube. |
| Checking the cut | You | Point at a part and say what to change, or drag it on the timeline yourself. |
| Thumbnail, title, posting | You | The free tools help with the thumbnail and the sizes. |
What it costs, and who it's not for
Krafto is $25 a month, with unlimited exports and no free plan or trial. That's about the price of one short video from a freelance editor, and less than a $19.99 editor plan plus the evenings you'd spend in it. If you post once a month, it's not worth it; if you film every week and the editing is why videos never go out, it is.
It isn't for everything. If you enjoy editing and want templates, effects and trending sounds, CapCut is a better fit. If your work is colour grading, multi-camera shoots or long documentary cuts, you want a professional timeline. If you have one long recording and want many clips from it, OpusClip is built for exactly that. Krafto is for the video where you talk to the camera and want it finished.
If you'd rather edit it yourself
You can. CapCut and InShot edit TikTok on a phone; Clipchamp and iMovie are free on a computer. The free tools on this site give you the size, the length and the safe zone for TikTok, and the guides walk through the cut. Start with the TikTok editing guide. Krafto is for the week you'd rather not.
